Terms of Use
Effective September 29, 2026 · Nerd Snipe Inc
1. The service
SquawkBar (“the app”) shows the status of third-party services you connect, plus local development activity on your Mac, in widgets and in the menu bar. By downloading or using it you agree to these terms and to Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
2. Your accounts and tokens
You connect your own accounts by pasting API tokens or keys. You are responsible for the tokens you provide, for creating them with the least access that works, and for revoking them if you stop using the app. Some providers (for example Netlify and Render) do not offer read-only tokens; the app only reads status information, but a token you provide may technically allow more.
3. Subscriptions
SquawkBar Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple Account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase; the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Any free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends. Refunds are handled by Apple.
4. Third-party services
Vercel, Netlify, Railway, Render, Supabase, Firebase, Cloudflare, Sentry, PostHog, Linear, GitHub, Slack, Discord and other product names, logos and brands are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify those services. SquawkBar is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them. Their APIs can change or rate-limit requests, and the status shown may be delayed or unavailable.
5. No warranty
Status information and alerts are provided as-is. Do not rely on SquawkBar as your only means of monitoring production systems. To the extent permitted by law, Nerd Snipe Inc is not liable for missed or delayed alerts, or for losses arising from use of the app.
6. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept it. Questions: hello@squawkbar.app.
